1. SK Prostějov is a Czech football club from the town of Prostějov, most notable for its participation in the Czechoslovak First League in the 1930s and 1940s.
In the 1941/1942 season, it placed second in the table, after Slavia Prague. In the 1945/1946 season, the club appeared for the last time in the First League. The club was then regularly appearing in the Second League of Czechoslovakia and later the Czech Republic. After the 2002/2003 season of Czech 2. Liga, it was forcibly relegated, because its stadium did not meet the Football Association criteria.[1] It currently plays in the lower leagues.
